Kenwood Energy specializes in services that support solar photovoltaic (PV) electricity projects. Often, a consumer only has the vendor to rely on for information on the product they are considering purchasing. Kenwood Energy offers an experienced and unbiased perspective on the technology.
Our services include:
- Evaluation of the PV potential using our proprietary PV output model that accounts for historical weather conditions, PV system efficiency, dust and dirt, AC / DC conversion efficiency, and wiring losses.
- Life Cycle Cost analysis that accounts for actual energy rates, initial cost, incentives, tax credits, accelerated depreciation, inflation rates, etc., resulting in the calculation of the Net Present Value and the Internal Rate of Return of the investment, as shown in the table on the right.
- Development of construction specifications and Bid Documents to ensure that the PV system will perform as desired.
- Evaluation of Bids. Kenwood Energy will review competitive bids, run them through our proprietary model to ensure that the proposals are evaluated properly and the customer is comparing apples to apples.
- Support with obtaining incentives and loans.
